43rd Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience - February 18-21, 2024 - Seattle, WA

Early Registration deadline: November 16, 2023 11:59:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Registration prior to the conference will end on January 18, 2024 at 11:59:00 PM Eastern Standard Time and resume on February 18, 2024.

Please be aware that photographs will be taken during the 43rd Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience for use on future marketing brochures and the National Resource Center's website. By registering and attending the conference, you are granting us permission to use any photographs in which you may be included.
Please enter the name, institution affiliation, email address, phone number and institutional mailing address of the person attending the event. A confirmation will be sent to this e-mail address and if provided, the alternate e-mail address after completing the registration process. If you are registering as a full-time graduate or undergraduate student, you will be required to upload a LETTER from your advisor, registrar, or dean as proof of FULL-TIME ENROLLMENT when you select that registration category. Persons employed full-time and taking college courses are ineligible.

If you are registering as a Chief Academic Officer, please contact fyeconf@mailbox.sc.edu to verify if you qualify for a fee waiver before selecting that registration category.

CAO fee waivers are non-transferrable and CAO must be accompanied by three or more full fee paying employees (students and preconference only participants do not qualify) from the same institution. If the number of institution registrations is less than three, the participant registering as the CAO will be invoiced.

Registration fee includes continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, and the welcome reception.

Early Bird Discount Deadline is November 16, 2023! Currently the Early Bird Registration is in effect. After the Early Bird Deadline, fees will increase. Be sure to REGISTER and PAY before this deadline to receive the reduced rate.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations of registration or refund requests must be made in writing to fyeconf@mailbox.sc.edu. Please enter the name of the event in the subject line. Telephone requests will not be honored. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days following the event.
  • Written cancellations/refund requests submitted on or before November 16, 2023 will have the registration fee refunded less a $100 administrative fee.
  • Cancellation/refund requests made after November 16, 2023 for any reason, including health or weather, will not be possible due to the financial commitment we have made on your behalf. Event attendee substitutions are welcome at no charge.
